This week I started my test knit sweater for Amy Herzog's Custom Fit application:
I am making a v-neck cardigan with just an inset of lace along each front edge and 3/4 sleeves.
The Custom Fit program is awesome- you have an account where you can store measurements, for you and whoever else you knit for (ladies only at this point). It is all web-based, so no software to download. Then you knit a swatch, and enter your swatch information. Then you are stepped through the pattern generation process. A pattern is created to your specifics! I have in the past required 2 notebook pages of calculations to knit a single sweater- I am super tall and very plus sized, and if I get stitch gauge I never get row gauge. All of this is accounted for in Custom Fit! You pay per pattern. Go on over and check out the homepage. If you want to be a preview user or stay up to date on the timeline, sign up for her newsletter.
I also finished sock #1 of my Sake socks. I used more than half my skein though. So I have ordered another skein, and will start when it arrives because I will probably alternate skeins because I have no idea about lot on this yarn.
I'm linking up with Patchwork Times for on the Needles Friday.

Your lace pattern is lovely. I also like your Sake sock. Nice job!
Your sock is gorgeous. I can't wait for CustomFit to be available to everyone. I was wondering how they were charging. It makes sense to charge by the pattern.
