Clandestine

I am taking the lead from Judy over at Patchwork Times and posting for On the Needles Friday. I have been off sock knitting for a few months. I knit a LOT of socks in the past couple of years and I got a bit burned out.

So I picked up a sock that I had abandoned back then and am working on it a little bit each night. There are tons of charts for this pattern so it is not a good sock for taking on the road with me. The pattern is called Clandestine and it is from Cookie A's book Knit. Sock. Love. . I have knit 15 of the 19 patterns in this book, and plan to knit them all eventually.

What a fabulous design and that yarn is gorgeous! A little knitting each night makes amazing progress. :)

OH I should have said the yarn is Knitpicks Stroll in the Queen Anne colorway.

Love the pattern and the color...I stick with really simple patterns. Someday I'll learn to read charts!

I've been nibbling away at an applique quilt block of the month by working 10 minutes here and 15 minutes there. It (and your socks) will eventually get done. Afterall, it isn't a race.

Carolyn, I recommend Monkey by Cookie A for learning charts- it just has one simple chart and the socks turn out great. I loved them so much I knit 2 pairs.

That's a beautiful pattern! So glad I have that book. The only one I've done is Monkey. It turned out well.
