They are plain old 64 stitch socks, I am not really using a pattern. I am just letting the stripes of the yarn run the show.

I am joining in On the Needles Friday over on Patchwork Times. The past few weeks I have been trying to finish up WIPs and get my projects down to a manageable number. Imagine my dismay,however, when I discovered yesterday that I had NO SOCKS on the needles. Not sure how long it has been since that happened, but I had to fix it!
So while I waited for Matt at football, I started these socks:

I'm mostly a plain jane sock knitter. Sometimes the yarn color/repeats just overwhelm a pattern. I like the looks of what I see so far. I tend to pick bright happy yarn myself.
They're going to be beautiful! No knitting has happened here, this working full time and taking classes at night cuts into my knitting and sewing time! Throw in a little vertigo...it's been quite a week! Maybe next week, sigh...
I like to go back to just plain knitting every now and then, they feel and wear the same. Love the striping so far.
