WIP Wednesday September 11, 2013

On this, the anniversary of those horrible events of 9/11, I really don't have the ability to put my thoughts about it into words.  My options at the moment are to spend the day bawling or preserve my mental health through crafting...so...

I posted recently about progress on my latest Project Linus quilt.

Here are all the blocks laid out.

I quilted  it in an allover square chain pattern.  Not perfect by any means but I am happy with it.

I used some of the strips from the jelly roll to make the binding.  Now all I need to do is sew it down.

I have really enjoyed working with these nice fabrics, and in these nice colors that I would not normally use.

I think it is an awesome choice of quilting for this quilt. Looks great to me.

Hello Maggie,

The colours are lovely. It is always a pleasure to use colours out of your usual range.
