On the Needles Fri Nov 1,2013 - The Neverending Sock

Still slogging away on my Sake socks by Cookie A.  The pattern is beautiful, but I was starting to feel like it might never end when magically I turned the heel and all was right with the world.

So the other day a knitter was on Ravelry talking about possibly knitting Folly Cove by Julia Farwell-Clay.  I love her patterns and already have her Mindy in progress.   But then I could not get Folly Cove out of my head.  I even had a yarn in mind from my stash.  I went and bought the pattern, to discover that I did not have enough of my planned yarn.  So I remembered a big batch of soy silk I had bought and I think I am going to knit a swatch with that and see how I like it for Folly Cove.

Then today, I read that Julia has issued a challenge to knit one of her patterns in a month.  Now I don't know whether to knit like crazy to finish up my Mindy or start a new Folly Cove!

Linking up over on Patchwork Times.

Nice socks! Those Cookie A. socks take some concentration, don't they? Now you've got me curious enough to check out both of those patterns!

Maggie, your socks are gorgeous!!! And you've really inspired me! I went over to see Mindy and had to buy the pattern :) It might be a little while before I feel comfortable actually knitting it, but I'm so excited about it - it's a wonderful pattern!
