WIP Wednesday JUNE 19

My fabric order for the quilt I am making for my younger son to take to college is due to arrive tomorrow. Before I start on that large project, I wanted to get some charity sewing done.  It felt good to thin out the stash a little bit over the past few days.

I made 6 pillowcases:

Then I made a quilt top for Project Linus.  I wanted to keep it low key, because there needs to be a lot of piecing done next week for Matt's quilt. So I just cut some strips, then pieced them, then cut them and repieced them.  I think to try to be this random, I should have had more than 3 fabrics, but I am mostly happy with my results:

I have a cream fabric with pink polka dots for the back and I hope I have enough pink and white stripes to do the binding.

Linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday.

It never occurred to me to make pillowcases! They are really costly pre-made, and your are much prettier ... I really like the top one. GOOD JOB.
